A bit about me
I thought far more about organizational dysfunction than your average 20-something - “why does work have to be so hard?!” - and found I had a gift for identifying breaks in ‘the system’ and which levers, if applied, could fix them.
Over time I grew increasingly passionate about wanting to aid organizations and employees to succeed together - to ensure that the many hours leaders and their teams spent at work were productive and fulfilling. Life is short!
With many years experience getting it right - and wrong - as an employee, manager, and ultimately organizational and operational leader, I am devoted to building strategic, scalable, equity-centered solutions that improve company culture, employee experience and business success.
My work has spanned multiple industries with growing responsibilities across marketing, business development, strategy and operations. In businesses of varying size and stage of development, I have developed expertise in company visioning, strategic planning, building and turning around departments, operationalizing strategy and leading change.
When not contemplating how to catalyze organizations to their full potential, you’ll find me in Portland, OR with my husband and tween daughter getting into nature, entertaining, planning a trip, gardening - or just sitting still feeling grateful for it all.
Values & beliefs
-
I believe people are trying their best. By listening and reflecting on others’ experiences, relationships are strengthened and the trust needed for a high-performing culture is built.
-
I believe the answers we seek lie within those who are living inside the problem; their experience and wisdom should be a guide to any solution.
-
I believe an organization must be agile by design while grounded in reflection and intentionality, and laser focused on outcomes while in sync with employee well-being.
-
I believe if employee and customer insights are continually mined, an organization will become truer to itself and more relevant to its customers.
-
I believe in defining shared expectations at the start, working efficiently, bringing the best out of everyone and meeting high standards.
-
I believe in being trustworthy and reliable, having the hard conversation to achieve the better outcome, and doing the fair and right thing.
